Who we are
Castle Care was founded in 2009 by an experienced mental health nurse with the opening of our Specialist Residential Home for younger adults with functional Mental Health needs. We established a home in which people could feel comfortable, safe and respected and have support from friendly, well – trained staff to be able to live their lives to the fullest. Through sensitive encouragement and person – centred support, we nurture daily living skills and promote independence, preparing individuals for the next stage of their lives.
In 2010, to further support our service users, Castle Care expanded by launching a Domiciliary Agency in RCT, Merthyr Tydfil and Monmouthshire. This initiative allowed Castle care to assist individuals in maintaining their independence while living in their own homes, offering continued support tailored to the needs of our service users.
With an aim to bridge the gap between residential care and domiciliary Care, Old Bank House Supported living was opened to 2017. This converted building holds 8 self-contained apartments with 24-hour onsite staff to provide targeted support when needed.

All branches of the services focus on quality, person – centred care, leading a motivated workforce that are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those whom we support, helping people in the following ways:
- Support with activities of daily living such as cooking, shopping, personal care cleaning, laundry, ironing etc. taking into account individual capabilities.

- Budgeting, benefits and financial support
- Access to healthcare appointments and services
- Support with medication
